Why does our Wi-Fi drop in certain spots?
Poor access-point placement, walls, interference, crowded channels, or faulty cabling can leave dead spots even with fast internet. We walk the space and test where people actually work, then check the wired connection too. The fix follows the cause, whether that's placement, settings, cabling, or capacity.
Is it safe to let customers use our Wi-Fi?
Yes, with proper separation. We give guests internet access while firewall rules keep them away from your POS, computers, and cameras. A different Wi-Fi name alone does not create that boundary. We test the separation and the guest experience before handing the network over.
Do we have to replace all our equipment?
No. We check the equipment's condition, security updates, compatibility, and ability to handle your business. Hardware that fits the design can stay. When we recommend a replacement, you'll know the problem it solves and which work can be planned for later.
When the internet goes down, do I call you or the internet company?
You call Acuuis, and a technician works through the problem with you. We coordinate the fix, including internet or phone provider calls when needed. We offer 24/7 support arrangements; your plan sets the contact route, after-hours coverage, and escalation.
Can you handle Wi-Fi for a hotel or resort?
Yes. We design guest Wi-Fi for rooms, pools, and common areas across the Grand Strand, with front-desk and back-office systems kept separate. We plan for busy periods and the devices guests actually use, then test coverage and capacity around the property.
What happens during hurricane season?
We plan ahead for coastal storms. Preparation covers backup status and planned restore checks, battery capacity, and internet-provider dependencies, plus a short checklist for your team. After a storm, we assess remote health and prioritize business outages. On-site visits follow your support plan and depend on safe access, power, and site conditions.
