Yes. UniFi Protect gives authorized users live viewing and playback through its app. We set up named access and two-step sign-in, so you control who can see the footage. Remote viewing needs a working connection to the recorder; local recording can continue without internet while equipment remains powered.
Basic local recording with UniFi Protect has no per-camera subscription. Footage stays on your on-site recorder. Your quote shows equipment, installation, any optional paid features, and the support service you choose, so the recording software and ongoing service costs are clear.
